I thought they're would be a movie 11 thread somewhere but I couldn't seem to find it!

Though this isn't talking about the movie itself.

    >_> So fraps is being mean and won't let me take a picture!

But when there's a pan screen of Ash & Co with the pokemon in the back; look! Theyre's no Gligar but a Gliscor!

So this means that Gilgar will evolve! It's been more common to see trainers with the same evolution train as each other but the SAME pokemon while they're still active in their party?

    What do you guys think?
And if there has already been a topic about this just direct me there and close this thread.

(Oh and; if anyone has the song from those trailers I really want it!)

Hmm. It certainly hasn't happened before, but It doesn't mean it shouldn't happen. It'll probably lead to more rivalry between Ash and Paul.

Or perhaps Paul gets rid of his Gliscor (not very likely) letting Ash have one???

Well that is a possibility but I would expect to see Gilgar as well if he were to have Paul's Gliscor. And I HIGHLY doubt they would trade.

well, misty did have both staryu and starmie at the same time. as to ash's gliscor, it might not really change anything, except giving ash a better physical wall.

Well i think the reason why gligar was caught in the first place was for it to evolve into gliscor, therefore giving the party a 4th gen pokemon. As with swinub, if its theirs, eventually it will evolve into a mamoswine for the same reason. It's too random for them to have two 2nd gen pokemon on their hands all of the sudden

That could be Satoshi's Gliscor, but then again it could be someone else's. Besides Satoshi's Gilgar is to cute/cool to evolve into a Gliscor, not saying Gliscor isn't cool but still looking at its face makes me wish it was a Gilgar. It could be like Aipom except not traded or evolved lol. If Gilgar does evolve then it would be like a copyrighted clone of Shinji's Gliscor, and that would be kinda boring, besides Gilgar is strong wihout it evolving probarly what a writer would put in lol.

I dont think it will happen...Think about it, the movies hardly have any connection to the anime because every time in the anime a legendary pokemon from a movie is mentioned, they act like they never met it before.

hm... you got a point there... if you acctually MET the Pokemon before, why would you check your Pokedex (which, by the way, tells hardly anything)? O_O

Actually i remember ash sayin that he remembers meeting lugia in the show after pokemon 2000

Yeppie. Ash admitted that he saw Lugia in The Mystery is History! episode during the Whirl Cup arc back in Johto. So sometimes they do connect the movies with the anime.

Also they said that Drew came from the city where Destiny Deoxys took place.
