    Welcome to The Mall's Food Fight! Each week a food product or restaurant will be pitted - eh, get it? *cough* food puns *cough* - against another food product or restaurant to see which will come out on top. Make sure to tell us below which you think is better and remember: don't just vote, expand on your answers! We want to know why you are so adamant with your answer (:

    In last week's Food Fight, Starbucks served up a brewed masterpiece and sent Dunkin Donuts to the dump with a landslide victory. If you have a matchup that you would like to see, send me a VM or PM and if your matchup gets chosen then an emblem will be given out as a reward!

    This week, we have two candy giants trying to create a bigger sugar rush: Skittles and M&Ms. Which will come out on top? Only YOU can help determine which is superior!

    Without further ado:

    Which candy do you prefer: Skittles or M&Ms?

     
    This one is pretty tough for me. I love crispy, peanut and pretzel M&Ms, and I also love tropical and the other non-traditional Skittles flavors. Wow this is hard, wish I had a pack of each with me right now. I decide M&Ms. The deciding factor I realized is that I prefer M&Ms texture to Skittles. Skittles are great but sometimes I am not in the mood for how hard they are.
     
    This was a hard one since I do love both these candies, but I am attracted to fruit flavours so Skittles slightly edged it here. One thing I often did with Skittles and M&M's was I sometimes ate certain colours before others, and I do love the crispy M&M's (I hate peanut though since I hate nuts in general), nowadays you have a lot of odd flavours.
     
    Peanut butter M&Ms are great, but the normal ones are just chocolate and you can get all kinds of chocolate pretty easily so they're nothing all that special.

    Skittles on the other hand, are a little more unique so they get my vote.
     
    Easy one for me because I really don't like Skittles. They're one of my least favourite sweets. I'd rather eat a big, rancid piece of dead skin.

    I would have voted Skittles, but they ruined it when they replaced lime with green apple. I didn't account any other flavors of Skittles/M&Ms into my vote, as I considered this to be a straight up battle.
     
    Gotta taste the rainbow. Sour skittles are one of my favorite candies. I almost never have straight-up chocolate so I haven't eaten M&M's in a long time...
     
    I'm glad to see this one is a little more contested than the last one (:

    For myself, I love Skittles. It's one of my favorite candies, if not up there with Twix and Butterfinger. I enjoy M&M's but I find that the regular packs are too small (as in each individual M&M is too small), whereas the peanut M&M's are the bomb diggity. Between the two though, I enjoy Skittles a lot more because I have a really bad sweet tooth lol.
     
    M&Ms, hands down. Skittles have no flavour at all, it's like eating rainbow poop.

    I love both, but it depends on the mood I'm in as to which I'll eat.
    Someone taught me that the best way to bring out Skittles flavors is to microwave them in a paper towel for 10 secs. I don't know how, but they somehow get juicier.

    so definitely M&M
    also because they have a few funny commercials​
     
    M&M's are my pick! I'm more of a chocolate fan than a fruity candy fan.
     
    I just recently discovered peanut butter M&Ms, and they're easily one of my favorite candies now. Regular M&Ms are pretty good too, and I can easily get carried away eating either of those two.

    If I'm looking for a fruit-flavored candy, Skittles aren't going to be my first choice- I'll go for Mike & Ikes or Starburst instead. I don't dislike them, but M&Ms get the easy vote from me.
