first hack, when opened in VBA i get WHITE SCREEN!!

    hey i just made my first hack, and i was ready to test it out and everything, but when i opened my hacked rom, it gave me a white screen!!!
    ive tried everything on the web, i changed my save type to 128kb/s and so on but nothing happned!

    plz help, i worked pretty hard on this rom and i dnt want it to go to waste..

    I think you should of tested the rom first before making any changes to it
    Now All of it goes to waste you are very sad
    I think you need to start over get a different file of your rom you hacked and TEST     IT Out!

    thnx, i actually tested it before the hack and it wuz fine. It screwed up when i modified slot 252 in pokemon editor.

    I think your not allowed to modify those things it will screw up your game
     
    hmmm ok here wat u can do to fix it...or try fixing it...
    get em back to normall lol!.... first replace the sprite to wat it used to look like... then the pallete... if you dont know wat it looked like anymore rip it out of another roms copy...<

    really? i guess that does make sense.. ill remember not to touch them next time =P

    hmmm ok here wat u can do to fix it...or try fixing it...
    get em back to normall lol!.... first replace the sprite to wat it used to look like... then the pallete... if you dont know wat it looked like anymore rip it out of another roms copy...<

    If you want any Sprite inserter done if it's a ruby rom pm me
    I kind of busy tho but I'll try to make time :)
     
    i had the same error ones.... i replaced the groudon title thing with something waaay different lol.... didnt notice<.... so then it screwed up, i still got it fixed with my theory up ther, but from this day i had always made backups lol...

    I have a rom that works fine
    it's in rar format
     
    No..< only if you do it completely worng thou it might..<... and with a special tool you can even replace number 252 , 253 and soo on<

    No the pallete will just FREAKIN SCREW UP YOUR GAME
     
    II HAVE FOUND THE PROBLEM!!!
    the part where it screws up is when i try changing the moves of a ?? pokemon!! i guess im just gonna have to replace a non-important pokemon...
