Fire Emblem Blazing Sword- The Best Team?

Which characters does you think are the best in Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword? Characters that I always having in my team is Oswin, Serra, Matthew, Rath, Hector and Lyn. The rest is if I'm in the mood for them or if there's a specific reason for them in the mission (Like recruiting etc)

Not sure, it's been forever since I last played it. I do remember always having Rebecca as one of my units; she was great. :)

Harken, Hector, Wil, Rath, Dart, Hawkeye, Pent, Jaffar.

They were always among my favourites.

having my name based on Karel of the game,I can say as long as Prepremotes except him and Pent are inyour finals,you really cant go wrong.Here's my Basic beast team.

Eliwood(Train him vigorously to become beast)
Hector(same)
Guy
Nino(if you want to spend the last few chapters focusing on her growth.She IS worth it)
Raven
Priscilla
Lucius(easiest to train out of him and Serra)
Canas(only one in the game,cant go wrong)
Wil
Sain
Dart
Maybe Oswin if you feel like having a tank,which Hector can do if trained.


Backups can be Hawkeye,Pent,Kent,Bartre, Rebecca,Harken/Karel,Rath, or Florina.However,I do not recommend the Flying units at all.(Based on my playthoughs)

Edit:I forgot matthew or Jaffar are awesome with Killing Edges no matter what, so they are great backups or leads.

3 lords, Raven and Nino. Best stat growths in the game, right there.

If you actually look at some of the stat growths, you'd be really surprised. Marcus' growths are on par or better than those of Oswin (Oswin is more tank though).

Actually, I think it might be easier to give those that have really bad growths.

Never use Lowen. His stat growths are pretty much the worst in the entire game. Renault isn't too good either, and neither, believe it or not, is Pent. Pent has pretty good base stats though, which is okay, I suppose (although Erk is generally better, and Nino by far). Isadora is also bad and her partner Harken isn't much better. Aside from that, most of the characters, pre-promoted units included, have decent growths.

But base stats; all the unpromoted guys are better than all the promoted guys.

Except Lowen. He's still terrible.

this team is based off having 14 characters in most battles, i use the same ones all the time in every fight, dont care about levels or anything. id take eliwood out and replace him with pent if i could, but sadly hes in every chapter >.>
