as you may know that when your Pokémon faints you lose some friendship with your Pokémon, but how hard is it actually to regain that friendship back?? does it take time or is it pretty quick fix? I'd like to know...

I'm not entirely sure just how much Happiness is lost per faint. Come to think of it, I've never seen an exact value for that. But, I'm sure it's not a large value. Happiness is easily obtained. From using items on Pokemon, to using them in battle, and, if you're playing B2/W2, some Join Avenue services. All in all, I guess any Happiness lost from fainting can easily be gotten again with little effort.

afaik, it's only -1 per faint, and that's easily just like 255 steps or walking around from one route to another.

Believe it or not, fainting only reduces it by 1. The big killers are the herbal medicines, Revival Herb in particular is -15! There's a whole page on it at bulbapedia. Unfortunately, I'm too new to give you a link, but go ahead and search "friendship" there.

I would of thought it lowered more when your Pokemon fainted. When your Pokemon faints, I've always assumed that it lost a little trust with you and was unhappy at you for losing. That's how I've always seen it as to an explanation on why Pokemon would lose happiness. Nobody really likes losing and they also get a bit annoyed at you for not commanding them better. But if you only lose -1 happiness for every faint, then I say it should take only a minute or so to regain that happiness back with the help of Soothe Bells and cycling up and down a bit.

Absolutely, 255 steps or just a level up and you're right back where you were.

Just walking and battling will earn your Pokemon's love and trust back.
