4th Gen Evolve Trade Evolution Pokemon Without Trading (Glitch)

    I'm not sure how many people know this so I'll post it up anyway. Basically what this glitch does is evolve Pokemon that would normally evolve after trading. I've done this with both my Graveler and Kadabra.

    Things you need:
    1: A trade evolution Pokemon to evolve
    2: Access to GTC (Global Trade Center)
    3: Access to the Nintendo Wi-fi connection
    4: An unwanted Pokemon to trade (explained later)

    Steps:

    1: Go to the GTC in Jubilife City
    2: Log into the GTC via Wifi
    3: Deposit Pokemon you want to evolve and offer it for something impossible like a level 9 and under legendary (Except Mew)
    4: Seek a Pokemon and make a trade with anyone using the Pokemon you don't want
    5: Go to summary and press A and take back your deposited Pokemon
    6: Your Pokemon will evolve

    This will also work with trade evolution Pokemon who need to be holding an item and traded to evolve.
     
    really? hmmm, dont think i'll use that. while those pokemon may be a hindrince to those who dont have too many friends whio play pokemon, those pokemon are put in the game to encourage interactivty. nintendo is trying to encourage people and families play the Wii and DS together. while this "glitch" is useful, you need to start connecting with friends. thats what i did.
     
    The only reason I did that was because I can connect to Wifi but I cannot connect to people through friend codes, it's my internet connection I think. Satellite sucks. >.< And I didn't want someone else's Pokemon so yeah. lol
     
    im not critisizing you in any way, wat i said was my personal opinion.
     
    This is actually already included in the stickied FAQ. Therefore I'm going to close this thread. I apologize if you spent a bit of time on it.
