Espeon Moveset?

    Hi, I just finished training my espeon to full Ev's. It's a special sweeper all ev's in speed and sp.attack (yes i know i wasted 6 but i dont care). So anyway i need a good moveset for it.

    Espeon @Leftovers
    Psychic
    Calm Mind
    Bite/Substitute
    Baton Pass

    Too bad Espeon can't special sweep with Psychic as its only move and a virtually impossible access to a full-strength Hidden Power Fire. Bite can take care of other Psychics but in the long run, you can't do anything to Tyranitar or Houndoom so I hope you have them covered. So basically, you Calm Mind and Psychic away. If something comes out that you cant handle, Baton pass those Calm Minds (and possibly a Substitute) to your other special attacking teammates.

    Baton Pass is a level up move learned by Eevee at Level 36. If you didn't learn it, you'll have to get a new Espeon (or use Bite instead of BP). =(
    Substitute is in both Emerald and FR/LG.

    My IV's

    OOOO dang. But couldnt i take it to that tutor in FR/LG that teaches old moves..no i couldnt evee never learnt it DAM! Oh well, where is the tutor that teaches sub and how do I get bite?

    Worked them out. Hidden power is dark which I guess is an alternative to bite. Dam I have 30 defence IV's but only 17 spatt. O well.

    No, Bite is a Level up move for Eevee when it's at Lv. 30.

    I guess the last move can be Reflect/Morning Sun.

    Morning Sun is a better option tbh. Eeveelutions just aren't cut out for ingame except maybe Flareon, which, opposed to common belief, actually has an Attacking movepool

    hopefully that's that sarcasm your custom use title suggests.
     
    no not really

    None of the eeveelutions can really have an all out attacking set ingame except for Flareon, thus making him a better eeveelution ingame, unless you think stating up and passing has a point ingame. Ingame is just attacking, anything else is just plain pointless
     
    What about HP? I'm not sure which espeon has but anything should do. The guy says espeon has better than average ability so which hp is that?

    But not everyone plays the game just to beat it. Maybe mew_rocks wants to compete with his friends over link battle.

    EDIT: You can't tell what Hidden power type it is until you give us Espeon's IVs. Then it can be figured out.

    I dont know them exact I just know the guy said better than average ability. What does that range in iv numbers? I could just teach it hp and see what one it learns then tell u anyway.

    Well, if you remember your exact EVs (252 in Sp. Atk and Speed right?) then all you need to do is tell us its stats and we can use an IV calculator to figure it out.

    Alright ev's are all in spatt and speed. Lvl 50 with mild nature: hp 129, att 81 def 71 spatt 192 spdef 104 speed 158. I thought I used to have one though I might have just used one on an internets site. Probalbly serebii or psypokes.

    EDIT: Ok i Checked myself. HP water with 42 power. Should i put it in or not?

    Here are your IVs:

    HP – 9
    Atk - 23
    Def – 29
    SAtk – 18
    SDef – 9
    Spd – 24

    Your Hidden Power is Water with 41 Power. Not too great, but hey, at least you have a supereffective attack against Houndoom/Tyranitar.

    a move with the same power as Water Gun isn't really worthwhile tbh. Just switch out when a Dark type comes
     
    Ok I dont think that my espeons hp is water cos i used it against a nintales and it wasnt super effective. I think its normal or something.... What should i do?
     
    there is no such thing as HP Normal
