Does May's Combusken ever evolve?

    Seems like forever since it was a Torchic and yet it still hasn't evolved again :S

    Also does Max ever get pokemon of his own?

    Seems alot of their pokemon never hit highest evolutions :(

    I personally think Max should get some pokemon. What you guys think?
     
    Yes, May's Combusken evolved into Blaziken in AG191, Once More with Reeling.

    As for Max, he has no Pokemon. Remember he is aged 7, and one must be at least 10 years old to have Pokemon of their own. He did befriend some of them in the Hoenn saga, a Shroomish, Poochyena, which later evolved into Mightyena, Shuppet and Ralts namely.
     
    Well actually, May's Combusken did evolve into Blaziken in Once More with Reeling; and once she left the group to explore Johto, quite a few of her Pokémon were revealed to have evolved when she made an appearance in Sinnoh.

    As far as we know, Max doesn't yet have any Pokémon of his own. Unlike May, he didn't make any more appearances since he left. I'm sure he has probably left/is preparing to leave on his own journey at the moment.
     
    Ahh ok :) I missed the last 2 or 3 years of the anime and its taking a while to catch up. Atm i'm at like episode 9 of season 9 the battle frontier.

    Not sure what AG191 means but the episode named "Once more with reeling" is about 40 episodes off, right at the end of season 9 :)

    AG is the abbreviation used for the Advanced Generation series, which includes the Hoenn and the Battle Frontier saga. :) So, AG141 is the 141st episode of that series.

    Ahh cool.

    When I started Battle Frontier all their voices were different. Ash sounds husky as if he finally hit puberty and his voice broke lol. Jessy and James both sound like slow and odd as if they are half asleep lol.
     
    Just check Bulbapedia when you have questions. They will most likely have the answer you're looking for :).

    That was the result of The Pokemon Company taking over the dubbing of the anime. (b'-')b

    Actually, when May made her cameo appearance for the Wallace Cup in Sinnoh, she did speak of Max. He's currently residing in Petalburg City helping his father out at the Gym and taking care of his Pokémon where he was shown brushing Slaking. Seeing as Ash is still ten in Unova, we'd have to assume that Max is still at the same age as well. Therefore, he'd still have a few more years before he preps for his own journey.
