Do you think there will be proper multiplayer in Z-A?

Despite my issues with Scarlet and Violet, being able to run around with your friends and enjoy the game together was great. I'd love to have something like that. Or at least just simple PVP battles, which Arceus lacked.

If the game devs start taking their time with Pokémon games moving forward (as they should), then a proper multiplayer mode would definitely keep me playing Z-A while they take their time with the next entry in the series.

I suspect that Z & A will be the culmination of features that "just work ™️" which may include co-op or multiplayer play. I feel like Gamefreak is just on the cusp of releasing a Pokémon MMO heheh

I expect battling and trading, but wouldn't mind if they aren't included. I don't anticipate a return of the Union Circle for this game specifically.
