Do you go after the pseudo-legendary Pokemon

Simple question, really. Do you take the time to traverse a huge cave to find a Pokemon with a diminutive encounter rate to raise it 45+ levels to evolve it into one of the most powerful Pokemon in the region? I'm guilty of this on Crystal, LG, and Diamond. I usually just use the region's Pseudo-Legend, my starter and a third Pokemon on my first playthrough, as it's a surprisingly sure bet to beat the game. I guess their power, design, and rarity really entice me. What about you? Do you hunt down the powerful evolution line that lies at the end of the regional dex?

    Noooo.

I don't have the perseverance to level them up to there final form, so I don't bother really.

For me, there isn't any time. I just finish the game with the party I have. And if my party is weak, I'll train them a lot more. I don't need to spend days to hunt for a Pokemon with a powerful evolution line.

Nope. I usually catch a few Pokémon at the beginning and switch them around for a while. By the time I've reached the third gym, I'm usually attached to my Pokémon and have a full party. I don't have the patience to level up a Pseudo Legendary on my first playthrough. Once I've completed the game, however, I may level them up to finish the Pokédex and/or IV breed them just for fun.

If it's something I'm interested in raising, then sure! In fact, I used pesudo-legendaries only in my last Platinum run. It was...difficult, considering they were all weak to Ice. lol

I've only ever bothered with Salamence in soulsilver, only due to the fact you could catch it at Lv. 46 in the safari zone so not that much work to do :D

I don't usually plan out my team. I go with the flow and catch whatever I come across and if it works for my team then I'll use it. I found a Dratini in the Safari Zone in my FireRed so I caught and used it on my team~

I only did this for Gible in Platinum, and it was definitely worth it once I got the the pokemon league. I wouldn't say I'm picky and want the pokemon with strong evolutions, but at the same time I hate the averages (say bidoof, starly, etc.)....Now in black, I really want darumakka and drillbur on my team so if it's a pain to find them then it's a pain I'm willing to endure.

i didnt bother raising them in the first 2 gens but gen 3 and after, i've been raising every single pusedo legendary i caught and they usually become part of my main team.
Its really hard to train every single one of them, but it feels like it pays off once you've fully evolved them, specially if they start off at lv1.
