3rd Gen Cyndaquil, Totodile, Chikorita

    I know its probably another stupid question from me :\ but how do you get Cyndaquil, Totodile and Chikorita on FireRed and LeafGreen?

    Please reply, I need help!!! :( :5: :3: :4:
     
    You can't. You can only get either Squirtle/Bulbasaur/Charmander. I think it's only possible to get them in Crystal/Gold/Silver.
     
    There are two ways to leagaly obtain those pokemon, one if which wont come into effect until pokemon Emerald is out.

    1: Snag the Bayleef/Croconaw/Quilava in Pokemon Coloseum's story mode, and export it to LG/FR/Ru/Sa/Em, then breed it for the baby pokemon.

    2: Catch any of them in the new area in the Safari zone in Pokemon Emerald.
     
    Aha! this quetion wasnt as stupid as the last about Mew, I new there was a bayleef on colosseum but I didnt think about breeding it!
     
    Yeah, you get one of the three somewhere in the game (I guess it was bayleef for you), then you get the other two after you beat the game. You can trade them over to the GBA once you beat the game.
     
    well my mate let me borrow his cube and so he had colloseum so i played but I acciedentally used all my snag balls on bayleef and didnt catch him so now ive gotta find the trainer elsewhere and purify bayleef! and I used my time flute on entei

    Hmm, well good luck. I hope you can get the pokemon you need from Coloseum before you have to give your friend back his Gamecube/Coloseum. Here is a list of the most importiant pokemon to get from Coloseum (In order):

    Bayleef
    Quilava
    Croconaw
    Noctowl
    Granbull
    Sunflora
    Miltank
    Sudowoodo
    Gligar
    Flaaffy
    Houndoom
    Foretress
    Ursaring
    Smeargle
    Stantler
    Aipom
    Shuckle
    Ho-oh
    Suicune
    Raikou
    Entei

    Just a note that you can only get ONE of the Johto starters after getting 200 Hoenn Pokemon, not all 3, from Emerald. For all 3 you need to trade them from Colosseum, and breed to get the lowest forms.
     
    And do we get to choose which starter Birch gives us out of cyndaquil, totodile and chikorita?
    OFF-Topic : Sorry I never played emerald...can 1st and 2nd generation pokemon be caught in the wild in emerald? Just answer in a yes or a no, I dont wanna be the reason for this thread going off-topic:P

    Can you do this on Ruby/Sapphire? I know you probably cant but I need to be reassured
     
    erm no u can only get them from birtch with 200 /202 pokemon in emerald nowhere else apart from the cube hehe
     
    Okay here's a re-cap of the thread:

    1. The starters CANNOT be caught in the Emerald Safari Zone

    2. They CANNOT be given to you by Prof. Birch after catching the 200-202 Pokemon in R/S. ONLY in EMERALD.

    3. You can ONLY get them from breeding purified Bayleef/Meganium, Croconaw/Feraligatr and Quilava/Typhlosion on Colosseum or trading them from Emerald via option number 2.
     
    Ah, Ok i was wrong as usual!

    Im gonna get me emerald, 1. to get mew
    2. to get bayleef, quilava, croconaw

    3. cuz emerald is a good game

    You can get them in emarald as soon as you get the national dex.Thats not a rumor though,it said that on seribbi.net
