Cycling Road

Since Generation IV, there have been no more new cycling roads in any Pokemon game. The generation III remakes were the last appearance of the cycling road. Anyway... as the name implies, the Cycling Road was a road where you can only use your bicycle. In the first generation it was a bike road to get from Celadon City to Fuchsia City. Generation II had the same road. The Hoenn games had one on Route 110, and if you had a Mach Bike, a guy at the end of the Cycling Road would test your speed and collision rate. The last ever cycling Road that wasn't in kanto was the Sinnoh Cycling Road, which was on Route 206. Most of these cycling roads are downhill and will automatically make you go downward once you are on it. The only one that is not like this is the Hoenn Cylcilng Road.

There has not been a new Cylcing Road in a main series Pokemon game, however, since Sinnoh. The other were all from remakes.

Which of the cycling roads was your favorite? How often would you say you road on the cycling roads? I did so often because in the older games, especially the Generation 4 games (HG/SS included) make it especially easy to hatch eggs on these cycling roads.

I dislike the concept of the Cycling Roads, especially the one in Kanto, although the one from R/S/E was probably the most tolerable one for me since it didn't have a slope.

....somehow I completely forgot about the Cycling Road in Sinnoh. Oof.

I think the most iconic one is Kanto's tbh, and I was really disappointed in its transformation @ LGPE. Now that I think about it, though, I definitely used the Cycling road in FRLG and Sinnoh to hatch eggs.
