Right so...the main purpose of this thread is for you guys to create your own hypothetical pokemon gym, as if you were an actual gym leader.

How would you describe the gym structure? At the front of the gym, there are 3 holes. Each hole extends into a maze akin to that of an ant colony. In that maze, you need to find the proper exit that gets to the leader.

What would be your opening phrase? People say that the Bug-type is weak and frail! As a result, they are underestimated completely. I will show you what the true power of insects holds!

It would be all rainbow-y inside (cue Daria's "RAINBOW!") and Rotation Battles galore (still one-on-one though) and aurora walkways that change direction/location/etc. based on switches you step on (kind of like Opelucid's gym).

Cooltrainers (not Ace Trainers because Cooltrainers makes it punny) and Ladies.

What would be your opening phrase?
"The soul of ice shattered fate." A line from one of my favorite songs. How do you feel knowing you'll be facing someone who can freeze fate itself?

Seems that I've shattered fate yet again. A gray day for you. No I won't stop with the FT references.

What would your defeat phrase be?
Ah... It seems I could not stop fate this time. *cue overworld plus gym music* Strength comes from within the heart, but it cannot be controlled unless one understands the greater strength that is teamwork. You have come to understand that power. Because of that, I am proud to grant you this badge.

Structure: Well, my gym would pretty much take place on a volcano, it would seemingly look pretty much a lot the same as the Blackthorn City Gym, only instead, you have to go higher up the volcano to get to the gym leader who is at the top.
Trainer Classes: Ace Trainers, and Fire Breathers.
Opening Phrase: "Woah, I'm suprised you've made up here. I'm Damian - Leader of the Vilthorn Island Gym. I have become a part of this island, and a part of this volcano and because of which have grown a fiery bond with my fire Pokémon. As a gym leader I will take you down no matter what. Bring it on!"

I honeslty don't know how many times I have made a gym up in these types of threads but i think I'll do it again! XD;

My gym specialise in the Physic pokemon. My badge would be known as the official 'Controle Badge." representing mind power and mind control along with demonstrating sharp technique and syncrecy. The gym would be constructed of purple electric beams in which integrate to form a complex maze confusing gulible trainers. Only the most sharp trainers can pass and if they are hit by a beam one of their pokemon will lose half of their health. Also, they can encournter many trainer that are running around the maze widly often stumbling into the protagonist when he/she is slowly making their way through.

Now onto myself as the gym leader. My opening phrase would be something along the lines of; "Only trainers who possess strong mental abilities may be entrusted with this gym's badge. I am Curious this gym's leader and shall except your challenge. Please brave yourself." If I win the battle; "Humph. I was right, I knew you'd lose from the start." If I lose; "Your physic abilities are outstanding, take this badge with pride."

How would you describe the gym structure?
You jump on a mechanical Pidgeot and it flies around while you control it. The whole room has rings in it and is dark. As you fly around there is a small circle of light around you. You have to go through five correct rings or you will face an optional trainer. If you beat all 5 trainers because you didn't go through any correct rings you go straight to the gym leader. Of course, to get to the robot Pidgeot there are trainers between you and it. Basically this gym is all about luck.

A poison swamp. Tall trees would obstruct your view throughout the gym. You cannot see any sprite, except for the trees. You cannot escape any trainer because they are placed where you cannot miss them. The gym leader will be at the far end of the gym. The gym leader will be the one to talk to you, pretty much like a normal trainer. All pokemon will be poisoned at the start of every battle.
