Communication features in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

As I am sure many of you already know, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet would contain a four-player co-op feature along with the ability to engage in link battles and trades. Thus, to use this feature to its full potential, I believe Pokémon Scarlet and Violet should also come with good communication features as well that allow us to chat with those we're playing with, something that Pokémon Sword and Shield lacked entirely. Do you believe that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet would or should have communication features? If so, what do you think they would be? Do you think the game would be compatible with voice chatting using the Nintendo Switch Online app, use a system similar to Animal Crossing: New Horizons where you can type messages, allow the use of the microphone port on the console itself, or would friends be forced to use Discord again for multi-player gaming? Because of this, I also predict that mods for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet would be working overtime for this generation.

I would prefer voice chat (it was super fun back in the DS era), but I don't see them doing that.

Pokemon X/Y had a great communication system. You could fill out a text field / make a blurb about what you are looking to do whether it be trading or battling. I wish they would bring back that option. Pre-loaded text options are fine, too.
I miss the O-Powers where you could grant yourself temporary quick-hatching powers or increased prize money powers. You could also gift these to other players.

Having friends on a screen would be much more organized than having 15+ different players riding their bicycle around me in Sword/Shield!

The Switch doesn't have a built in microphone for something like voice-chat to even be a thing within Scarlet and Violet.

I'd rather they just bring back the PSS and let some features be free with NSO. I despise how everything is locked behind a paywall in the Switch era.

Eh, at least we can play with up to four people simultaneously, though, right? Too bad it'll be locked behind NSO.

If we get voice chat in Scarlet and Violet it will be an absolutely bloody disaster. Anyone else remember the Splatoon 2 voice chat? Nintendo haven't advanced past that, and Game Freak are even more stuck in the past than they are, so. Better pray we don't see any move towards giving these games voice chat. It won't work as intended.

All I ask is that we don't get another rubbish password system, or something horribly convoluted like Gen VII's Festival Plaza. Something simple and intuitive, like the PSS, would be delightful. Of course it'll be locked behind the NSO paywall, but...well, that's to be expected of non-PC online these days really.
