Co-op Pokemon Game Ideas

    Am I the only person who's ever thought about a co-op pokemon game? I'd love to be able travel across a region with a partner. What do you guys and gals think? Feel free to give out ideas and opinions.
     
    Nah, I think that other people would slow me down really.
     
    Since the main series pokemon games aren't leaving the handhelds anytime soon, it'd be...awkward to have two players huddled around one DSi. XD

    It would be an interesting plot for a console spinoff game however. :P
     
    Well, it would use more than one ds and game, obviously. XD And yeah, I guess it would be spin off game, but I wasn't sure to put it there or not.
     
    I was actually surprised they didn't have this option in Colosseum...what with the prominence of double battles and the existence of Rui as a sidekick. I still believe that there should've been a co-op mode where Wes loans Rui either Espeon or Umbreon and she fights alongside him in battles, snagging her own pokemon and everything. XD
     
    Oh my god, my friend and I were just talking about this yesterday. I completely agree, you could possibly do it over wi-fi or something, because then any of us could play with anyone else. I was thinking that each person has to get 8 badges, but can team up if they wanted too, and the gym leader would bring one of his gymmates in and you would do a double battle.
     
    I absolutely love co-op games. Here comes the copypasta.

    We have triple battles now, so I was thinking that 1 or 2 friends could join you. Each battle would be a single/double/triple battle, depending on the amount of players. There would be Player 1 (The host), Player 2, and Player 3. The two extra players can do pretty much anything they can in their game, except advance their story. All players have freedom to roam the entire region at their heart's content, but they also have the power to summon everyone together, with the other player's permission of course. Maybe the feature could have a chat feature and be wi-fi compatible with friends.

    Or they could just give us our dang Pokemon mmo. :3
