Cloyster or Kingdra?

It depends on what your looking for but I would say go with kingdra because its only weakness is Dragon and it has pretty balanced stats. On the other hand cloyster has extremely high defense but low sp. defense and decent special attack. It also has multiple weaknesses. So if you are looking for the better pokemon overall i would look at kingdra but if you need a pokemon with high defense go with cloyster.

You can only get Kingdra if you've beaten the game. Just figured i'd point that out since this is FR/LG. But Kingdra doesn't really have the best movepool in third Gen. idk about Cloyster though, it's ok. But Lapras is better than that.
 
Kingdra, by far. (S)He's got a pretty smexy movepool (For FR/LG that is) and with only one weakness (s)he's a beast. Also has a giant Egg Group and his/her abilities are pretty nice as well. You're choices for him/her are either a Rain Dance Moveset (RD, DD and 2 STAB moves) or some sort of Sweeper Moveset (no set up, just completely ownage).
