I'm about to start my first EV training, so forgive me if it's a bad idea.

Anyway since I'm a huge Cleffa fan I've decide to put Clefable in my final line up. Yes It may not be the best but I'd like a team that not everyone has. D: I'd Like it to be a special.

My Cleffa is Modest and I plan to EV train it in SP Def/Atk (Not sure)

So I need a final Moveset for Clefable and this is where I am at a lose.

So any help/ideas would be great.

In my opinion, modest and calm are the better natures for Clefable. Give it leftovers to hold, and as for it's moveset...

    Thunderbolt
    Thunderwave
    Ice Beam
    Softboiled

Dunno where the EV's should be placed exactly, but I'm guessing either in Sp ATK, Sp DEF, and possibly some speed.

    Clefable @ Toxic Orb
    Ability: Magic Guard
    Bold / Calm Nature
    EV: 212 Def, 112 Sp.Def, 186 HP
    - Seismic Toss
    - Softboiled
    - Encore
    - Thunder Wave

Do this if you have access to a Clefable from Emerald.

Why Toxic Orb? What is that for?

So that it gets poisoned (no damage taken because of Magic Guard), thus preventing your opponent from afflicting it with an other status effect.

it's true. It was a suggestion on my Breloom in my Rate my team thread. It works pretty well. (the breloom has poison heal). But Clefable's high hp should be enough to survive toxic orb's effect (394 max).

Clefable does not take damage from poison.
