Well im posting this up because im planning to use Bastiodon inside my battle team as a waller and until now this is the best specimen i have laid my hands on, i just want to know if this stats are good having a neutral nature and no EV training on it and, what would be a good walling moveset for him since im just lost in here (1st pokemon ive ever breeded for this such of things).

    Bastiodon @ Leftover`s
    Ability: Sturdy
    EV: 6 ATK / 252 Def / 252 SpDef
    Nature: Quirky
    - Iron Head
    - Stone Edge
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk

Thats the edit, as always im still thinking on another moveset hence this one im really convinced im going to dish its max potential in damage (tough its low, you need to get something that smacks good) So if anyone has anything better in mind or know something else to use besides leftovers just post it, im gonna check that up. Also remember im taking every suggestion into consideration so dont refrain from posting.

    Waiting for C&S

-EV train or don't expect to win.
    -Never use Nuetral Natures.
    -Post EVs instead of stats.
-Post a moveset for us to correct, otherwise he have a sticky.

Following these things, especially the first thing, and you'll be doing better ;)

Well, i know i need to EV train but this is just its normal stats so now let me correct some of the info at the first post to get it right :P

Good lord, dont use that as a wall, have you seen how many weaknesses it has ? Not to mention the 4x weaknesses as in Fighting and Ground which means the most common moves in the game Close Combat and Earthquake.

Also why are you using neutral natures, they are horrible, they do nothing, get a + nature, which actually helps the thing.

Its best set is the metal burst set.

    Bastiodon@Lefotvers /Focus Sash
    Brave Nature
    252 HP / 252 ATT / 6 DEF
    - Metal Burst
    - Curse / Taunt
    - Stone Edge /Taunt / Toxic ?
    - Earthquake

Idea here is to curse, hopefully survive the hit and Metal Burst it back for the ko. Taunt forces them to attack you directly so metal burst will be more effective. The focus sash metal burst lead is funny if you can get it to work.

    OR Metal sound set

    Bastiodon@Lefotvers
    Modest /Quiet Nature
    252 hp / 252 sp.att / 6 def
    - metal Sound
    - Flash Cannon / Fire Blast
    - Thunderbolt
    - hidden Power Ground / Ice Beam

It has a good special movepool, with metal sound you might be actually able to do some damage.

Just dont use it as a wall, it gets wrecked due to its common and 4x weaknesses.

Well, i know he has all those weaknesses but i tough i`de give it a shot for my first try in training and until now it seems ok. But also it hasnt been the first time someone says it just wont work for its weaknesses and its low stats on the rest but well, what can i do? mmm... Just plan my team better up and come back.

Forget about this thread guys i need some time to do heavy thinking...

this guy really stinks... in all honesty, i'd rather use wormadam.

I personally like bastiodon, but not your set. TBH its really quite bad. Have you seen its attack stat? Walls are not supposed to be attack orientated. Here's my set (Yes it relies on a hax move but its the only realistic attack it has)

    Bastiodon@Lefties
    Relaxed
    252HP/124Def/134Sp.Def
    Substitute
    Rest
    Sleep Talk
    Fissure
Sub, Rest, Sleep Talk and repeat. Sorta works, not very reliable and often banned. Unfortunately its not a good wall due to 2 quad weaknesses.
