In Celadon City there is a Game Corner around the south-east of the city, which inside is a very colorful place. There's a few people who give you spare coins, or you could go to the counter and buy a bunch of coins for yourself. You can even find a lot of coins on the floor. Keep looking on the floor for free coins! Unfortunately; there is only one game that you can play, and that is the slots. You can spend your coins in the prize shop next door, you can get TMs, alongside rare Pokémon. Some of these, like Porygon cannot be obtained without purchasing them from here.

There is also a machine in the bottom-right corner, where the player can give $50 to get their Pokémon shown on the player's Trainer Card. Under the Game Corner, resides the Rocket Base. This is where the player has their first battle with Giovanni. Since it's under the Game Corner, many people suggest that it's owned by Team Rocket. To access the base, you need to talk to the poster in the top-right of the Game Corner, on the wall. It should open a staircase.

    - What are your opinions on Celadon's Game Corner? Was it better then R/S/E's?
    - Did you like that the antagonist's base was under it?

That Game Corner is cool, giving away rare Pokemon like that. It's definitely better than R/S/E's.
Team Rocket's hideout under it, wow, just wow. It wouldn't be obvious if that grunt wasn't giving away information and the switch wasn't blatantly there.

Pretty cool. I bet they didn't expect me come there with the 350k pokedollars at the very beginning thanks to that TR Grunt and his nuggets. All the TMs and a Scyther just for meh ^^

I loved Celadon's Game Corner, haha. Every time I was bored, I'd always come here and try wrecking some coins up. Was successful for most part. Is this better than R/S/E's? Well, they're both different in their own way; one has Team Rocket hideout, with other having a special roulette game. Due to that, I like them both equally. :] Though, one in FR/LG offered Pokémon as prizes, while R/S/E did not, so… I suppose it makes that a little more special when it come this kind of stuff.

The game corner of casino in FRLG is better than the one in RSE imo. They were awesome and I remember I used to fill my coins just to buy that freaking porygon. xD

I feel as though it's easier to line up three 7s at the slots in FR/LG than any other game with slots. It took me less than two hours in Fire Red to get enough coins to get the stuff I need, compared to five hours in Sapphire.

If we're talking the Game Corner as a whole (including the Rocket Hideout downstairs and the prize corner next door), Celadon's Game Corner is easily my favorite over Mauville's. I would've like to have seen a new game or two though, as 30 slot machines isn't as interesting as say, 10 slot machines, 10 card flip games and a few roulette tables.

I loved the Game Corner, mostly because the Team Rocket Grunt was certainly not doing anything important and there was certainly no switch on the picture the Grunt was guarding. Just so comical lol.

But I smacked up some nice coins (7 7 7 lol) by rhythmically pressing A (it should have totally equal gaps) and betting 3 coins every time. Besides that, I really wanted the Porygon XD

Well, I never use it. I have a few times, but that's because I want one of the cool Pokemon that they sell like Porygon. And when I do use it, I just buy coins instead of actually playing the games. I like Mauville''s better, idk why, I just like it more.
