    Plot​

    Jimmy Kudo is a high school detective who helps the police solve cases. During an investigation, he is attacked by gin and vodka who belong to a syndicate known as the Black Organization. They force him to ingest an experimental poison called APTX 4869to kill him without leaving evidence. A rare side-effect of the poison, however, transforms him into a child instead of killing him. Adopting the pseudonym Conan Edogawa, Kudo hides his identity to investigate the Black Organization. Later, Shiho, a member of the Black Organization and creator of APTX 4869, tries to leave the syndicate after her sister's death but is captured. She attempts suicide by ingesting APTX 4869, and like Kudo, is transformed into a child. She escapes and enrolls in Conan's school under a pseudonym, Anita Hailey. During a rare encounter with the Black Organization, Conan helps the FBI plant a CIA agent, Kir, inside the Black Organization as an undercover spy.

    I watched and liked 12 episodes but then it all got too stressful.

    I'll probably watch, or read, some more one day and then just watch the films.

    I understand, The Series is truly an awesome series and is worth using time watching them, But still most of people don't really like episodic episode. Because if they get addicted to it they properbly need to watch whole episodes, Which is maybe more then 700.
     
    800+ chapters later and we're still nowhere near the end.

    I got tired of reading. I'll continue whenever it finishes or whenever it reaches 1000+ chapters, whichever comes first.

    I don't mean to bash on Detective Conan, but the problem with the series is that the cases gets too repititive, and unimportant at most. You can just skip everything that doesn't involve the Black Organization and Sera Masumi and you'll still get the story.

    Heck, I can probably scan through the 800+ chapters and report the ones that contributes to the story, and that'll probably be about 30% of the whole thing.

    in 2007 The ending was announced, But the date wasn't cofirmed.
     
    I watched this on Funimation back in the day, though they only released 50 episodes on tv. A couple years ago i got reintroduced to the series and watched all of the dubs, which i thoroughly enjoyed. Once they ran out i tried to swap over to the subs and lost intrest pretty quickly, i believe right after Ai got introduced.

    Seems i can only watch crime shows in English haha.
     
    This series is really awesome, I love Conan and Ran, By the way I really got impressed with the amazing running mind of Conan. He really solve some case that doesn't even cross my mind xD I love how the series episode shows different Case relating different murders and mystery. Plus its a little blood thirsty too ! xD (I mean there are some violent scenes but most of them are covered with shiny light, Like when In first episode the victim's head had been cut off, it showed the red blood as some shiny light.)

    2 hint about Black Organization Boss .
    Now Boss is someone close to Conan then he probably notice Conan intellect Because he descried to be careful.
    If The Boss doesn't know about Conan thats mean he's not that close with him .
    But if he does know Conan then shouldn't he try to know the secret behind it.
