Can you remember the town/city names in each region?

If given a list of regions and asked to name every town/city in them, how many would you be able to name?

I realized that after gen 3 (though I probably do remember most from Sinnoh), my ability to remember each town/city in a region becomes very poor at best - even my favorite region, Unova, is one I can't name every location for without having to look it up. Woops! I just spend so little time in most towns/cities nowadays and stopped retaining their names as well.

I've memorized the towns/cities from gen 1 and gen 2 when I was younger. I still memorized the towns/cities from gen 1 but I forgot some of them from gen 2. I was never able to memorize the towns/cities from gen 3-gen 7. I guess the older I am the more I will forget.

Probably just Gen. I-II. Maybe Gen. III and IV if I were told me how many there were. I sometimes get New Bark and Littleroot confused though.

Oh my god, no. I've put in too much brain activity into Pokémon as it is, ain't no way I'm cramming more in here.

    Ok here goes my attempt.

    Kanto

Very poorly, except for Generation 1. Has not played any Pokemon game before Generation 6 outside of its generation. Has not stepped foot in those regions for around 10+ years. Hammered in most of Generation 1 due to all the binding threads: the anime (On the Road to Viridian City, anyone?), trading card game, spinoffs, figurines, and general cultural hype. Dropped to largely mainline games and spinoffs midway through Generation 2.

Remembers some towns, despite that. Watched other people play sometimes as well. Jogged some memories.

    - Generation 1: Pallet Town, Viridian City, Pewter City, Cerulean City, Vermillion City, Celadon City, Saffron City, Fuchsia City, and Cinnabar Island. Spaced on the town with the graveyard tower outside of Rock Tunnel. (Guessed Violet City. Checked. Came close.)

    - Generation 2: Goldenrod City (the hub of everything interesting).

    - Generation 3: Lilycove City (buy everything there), Pacifidlog Town (learned about Lombre evolving via stone there), and New Mauville (a central location)

    - Generation 4: Floraroma Town. (Helped others with items in a Hunger Games-inspired Nuzlocke. Backtracked there for a lot of stuff with...Surf?) Also Jubilife City for the Loto-ID.

    - Generation 5: Nothing. Remembers some places (Relic Castle, the stadium, the ferris wheel, Chargestone Cave, the airbase gym, the mine gym), but not town names. Could technically count Black City/White Forest. Blanks on the major city. Had several roads and a port. Shrugs.

Trod through Generation 6-8 more. Completed all of those...at least three times? Remains fuzzy anyways.

    - Generation 6: Geosenge Town (Flare base), Lumiose City (major hub town), Snowbelle City (snow), and Anistar City (Psychic gym + star clock). Adds Terminus Cave (Zygarde), Reflection Cave (beware the Hawlucha trainer), Parfum Palace (fireworks and Furfrou), Pokemon Village, and Lost Hotel for other locations.

    - Generation 7: Hau'oli City, Koni Koni City, Malie City, and Po Town. Sort of Aether Paradise too? Could not name the battle royale city, Heahea City (saw it here), the sea port city on Poni Island, or the beginning town. Never kept Mount Hokulani (remembered) and Mount Lanakila straight.

    - Generation 8: Wedgehurst (because of the DLC notification), Motostoke, Hammerlocke, Ballonea (barebones Fairy city), Circhester (big, frosty, and Hero's Bath), Stow-on-Side (daily deals), and Spikemuth (the hallway city). Could not have named Hulbury, Wyndon, or the first gym city without having seen some of them days ago.

Yes, I tend to be good at remembering the names of the cities and towns in the games that I've played.

I'm good with all the towns and cities through gens 1-3, and then I only remember select ones from after that. I probably draw the biggest blank with gen 6, though I'm surprisingly better with gen 7 (probably because of the more unique Hawaiian/Alolan names).

Only Sinnoh :D Has helped that I've been able to refresh my memory with BDSP! Any other region... I will have trouble. In particular, anything post Gen 4. I think I could manage to name Kanto and Johto towns if I tried my best to remember. But my mind is a total blank when it comes to places like Alola hahaha

    Spoiler:

Got all of Kanto, not that suprising.
    Spoiler:

    Got all of Johto
    Spoiler:

Missed a couple of the towns with barely any significance.
    Spoiler:

Suprisingly missed quite a lot, even though I only JUST played through BDSP like a month ago.
    Spoiler:

    Missed a couple
    Spoiler:

Have never played XY at all so yeah not suprised at this
    Spoiler:

Really suprised at this since Alola is my favorite reigon.
    Spoiler:

Galar is somehow the most memorable reigon for me ever since gen 2 wow.

Yeah, I think I can remember most towns and cities from Gens I-V, but anything beyond that, I'll probably forget most of the towns and cities, lmfao.

I think I can confidently name all the towns in each region from Gens I-V up until the main story of BW. I always forget the names of the post-game locations and towns introduced in B2W2, such as Floccesy Town, Lentimas Town, and Humilau City, despite those games being among my favorite entries in the series.

In Kalos, I can probably name about half of the towns/cities. In Alola, I can't name any outside of Hau'oli, probably due to the fact that I have only played through Moon once. I'm getting better at remembering the Galar locations after my second run of Shield.

I'm pretty good for generations 1-4. After that, I know where most things are, but have virtually no memory of the names of towns/cities. It lines up with my finishing university/starting to work. Similarly, I can identify most Pokémon by cry up to Gen 4-5, but after that it's harder to distinguish. I guess it's enough to ask of my brain to retain 500+ Pokémon and 4 regions worth of geography.

I'm very good with gens1 through 2, a little weaker with 3, never played 4, played 5 in German and understood nothing (lol), then I'm decent again with 6 and 7, then never played 8. overall wake me up in the middle of the night and I'll cite all towns and places of interest in Kanto and Johto!
