She gets her ass kicked all the time in the anime and probably has less than 50% win ratio against everyone in the anime. How in the world did she become the champion? I can see it "maybe" possible if she's grown up in the game(meaning she probably practiced for many years), but she's a kid still, she's no where near the level of any of the half competent people.

Anime Iris =/= Game Iris. Yes, they look the same, specialize in the same Pokemon, and have similar personalities, but they are two separate people.

Being a kid has nothing to do with skill. Look at Red and Green/Blue; they became Champions at 10, and Iris is definitely older than that. Similarly, you have a bunch of Veteran and elder Trainers in the games who have probably been Trainers who have battled for many years, yet still lose to a preteen/teen who has recently started their Pokemon journey.

Anyway, as for why Iris is Champion in BW2, she defeated Alder, who retired from being Champion, and thus gained the title. She trained under Drayden before battling him, too, so her victory wasn't a fluke.

There's a cutscene in BW2 if you use memory link that shows her beating Alder and taking over as champion (as well as showing off her new dress swag.) Anime prowess is irrelevant here, if the two were connected you wouldn't be able to defeat Cynthia period who is demonstrated as near God-Tier. Age is also irrelevant, as the protagonist displays time and time again within their respective games.

Disregard what I said about being kid if anime != game, since the 2 part of my argument was meant to relate to each other. I only talked about the kid thing because "because of her performance in the anime, she would need many years of training, in order to at least get anywhere near the level of a champion". Therefore, having spent those years starting from a kid, she would have been grown up after the training.

Anyway, it is very hard to believe they are not the same person since they.........look the same and has the same Pokemons....?

Iris from the game is not the same Iris in the anime. It's like you'd say that Ash and Red are the same person.
Anime is based on game, but they change many things. That's why in game Iris is that strong.

Obviously the Iris in the B2/W2 games is different than Iris from the Anime. Not even close and able to compare them. Those are two different things.

Why would it be impossible for a kid to be the Champion??? The characters in ANY Pokemon game are depicted as ''kids'', and you have to defeat the Champion in each game, that would technically make you, a kid, the new Champion.
Therefore, Blue, Red and so on were kids also. And Bue was a Gym leader/ Champion and about the same age as you so that's possible too. Or Bugsy, a pretty young Gym Leader as well. I can't see why it is impossible for a kid to be the Champion.

Sure, the games have SOME slight resemblances towards the anime, but they are still two seperate things. Like said earlier, they changed some things in the games compared to the anime. Not any Pokemon game is entirely the same as the anime, so this is from all times.
