Can I connect to Wi-fi from an Emulator on my laptop?

It says it can't find the access point. Is it possible to connect on an emulator, or can you only do it on the DS?

"People like me"? You need to get some perspective, mate, just because I don't want to go out and spend over 100 quid on something that I'm likely to use once, doesn't mean I'm a hacker, or some quasi-devil you seem to be making me out to be. Thanks for your help.

Nah mate, you can't do it. To connect, Nintendo WFC registers your console and game with an "account" of sorts, which is why FCs don't conflict. With Emulators, this makes it harder to connect. Developers may be able to create a virtual local link (Emu to emu) in the future, but Wifi isn't going to happen. Sorry.

They've managed to release an emulator that allows emu-to-emu trading so I dare say at some point some smart alec will successfully create a Wi-fi emulator.

For now though, nada.

That's your opinion, you don't need to be that harsh on them ]: It's up to them if they want to used hacked Pokémon or not, you should try to be respectful when stating your opinion.

Really, do you want me to respect Bank Robbers, Murderers and Terrorists and help them if they ask for it as well? He has as good as stolen a DS and the game and you want us to be OK with this, because of people like him who download games instead of buying them we have lost some great company's who where unable to make enough money to stay open, such as Free Radical who where rumored to be making Star Wars Battlefront 3, but due to people stealing games and thinking "oh it'll be OK it's only one" the rest of the gaming word looses out, and i for one am not going to sit by while people do this, especially ones who ask for us to help them do it.

Look, there will always be a large number of people that continue to do this, so it doesn't help to take it out on the OP. Chances are, lots of people can't afford to regularly pay $50 and upwards whenever a new game is released. Cut him some slack.

@Cooltrainer Mike - The linkable emulators are for GBA(VBAlink) and N64(Project 64k), though. Both of which are usually local, wired connections, so it's relatively easy to link them.

Thats not even why the company you mean isnt doing Battlefront 3. There were some other major issues, that lead to the company losing the monopol to making Star Wars Games. And btw If Nintendo would just see the profit they could make from allowing people to play their games on pc like creating a Nintendo version of Steam, there wouldnt be people cracking the games and like you said hacking. They just want to play on a bigger Screen with better graphics and you blame people for that. Sure there are the people Tagträume hacking but just playing the Rom version like you would play it on your DS isnt hacking my mate. It would be, if he gets perfect IV, shiny or legendary Pokemon as much as he wants to. But my man just wants to play a game that isnt available for PC on it the same way we do on our DS. Thats nothing to cry about like you do!
