Bulk Base Set/Jungle/Fossil/Rocket Cards

Been a long time since I collected Pokemon cards around 2000. I pretty much forgot about them after that time, they just sat for many years. I found some YouTube Pokemon videos recently and it motivated me to look through my stuff, which turned out to all be bulk loose in boxes.

I found:
- (mostly) base set unlimited cards from booster packs
- Jungle
- Fossil
- Team Rocket
- A good amount of Japanese cards from base set, jungle, fossil, team rocket and gym heroes
- An (empty) base set box that's damaged, but intact
- A damaged (empty) fossil box

To my surprise, I also found a dozen 1st edition cards, but none were holo. I think the best is an Eevee jungle card.

Good new/bad news... Good news is most of the cards are in decent shape, despite a lack of sleeves. I think some could be PSA 9s or 8s, but most have at least a little whitening. Bad news... I can't find my holo collection! Can't remember for the life of me what happened to it, have looked everywhere. I had two Charizards and every base card except Venusaur. I did find six lose holos (Poliwrath and Zapdos from base, Gengar from fossil and Dark Dragonite, Machamp and Alakazam from Team Rocket). They are all in medium-good condition.

In total, this is enough cards to fit nearly three boxes and they are all around 20 years old. I just wish the holos were not a tiny percentage of it.

So I am wondering what I have on my hands and what I might want to check for?

Any chance you can take some pictures so we can see the cards themselves? There's only so much information people will be able to give based on your descriptions. Sounds like a good haul though. With things like this, forgotten collections can turn into absolutely treasure troves given enough time!

Holo 1st editions are the biggest thing to look out for, and holo non-1st editions are the next tier to look out for, then promos in 3rd, and non-holo 1st editions in 4th, plain non-holo rares in 5th, and everything else in 6th. FYI the little whitening (which sounds like edgewear) probably bumps them down to 7s.
