    Altho tracy had shot term main char part in pokemon, i believe he made more interesting points than brock, hwo has almsot always been in pokemon, but hardly participates and does anything. tracy was there to sketch, and give maybe a few physical descriptions, the only use i see for brock is to cook food for the group...ive said my bit, but now its time for you to decide, BROCK OR TRACY? :badsmile:
     
    yes, and tracy also noticed things no1 else didnt, such as a possible loving for psyduck and misty... haha it sounds dirty for a pokemon and a human, but i dont think it was like that, jsut a cute poke/trainer relationship. tracy could cook, sktech, use his pokes, talk bout interesting things, helped save the day more than brock ever has, and he only had 1 season, and time wasnt wasted when watching brock fall inlove w/ every girl he saw... tracy was more mature and nice.
     
    i would hafta like go with Tracey because he is like kinda cute and well brock seemed like kinda annoying to me cuz he always like fell in love with like every girl he like saw and even the new series he still like falls in love with every girl which never changes but im not like saying i hate brock because i like think hes okay but i like chose tracey cuz he's alot cuter and he's like more taltented then brock ^^;;
     
    You know, over a year ago I used to hate Tracey, but now I can't really figure out why, besides the lame excuse he replaced Brock *shrugs* But I honestly like Tracey now, in fact he's probably the Pok?mon character I'm most like, I'm addicted to drawing too XD;;

    I chose that I like them both, simply cos I do XD Though Brock I think I will always like a little more as we know so much more about him, it would be nice to learn more about Tracey, like his family and such, after all he did just waltz off to Kanto and stay there so....does he even have a family? If so do they even know or care where he is?
    DUDE, there is SO much potential there XD;;;;

    I like Tracey better... Hes stupid sometimes but Brock have Mental Problems and have Illusions with Police Officers and Nurses @.@

    Tough choice, I really like them both. I won't be going over the real ups and downs of 'em here, unless someone wants me to or something. In the end, I think I'll have to go to Brock. He definately provides more phychological support to Ash and the kid really needs it (or some Ritlin, whichever). Besides, Brock struck me as a bit more typical, just with exaggerated feelings over the fems.
     
    I'm going to have to say Brock. I can't actually say that Tracey was a more colorful character than Brock. Brock always had more quirks than Tracey, who seemed somewhat more orthodox in personality (but with much more personality than a certain replacement character we have today who shall remain nameless). Who wouldn't be a fan of a guy who trains rock pokemon but also loves pokemon grooming, cooking, and hitting on girls...he was also sort of a father figure to Ash and Misty which was something that Tracey couldn't be since he was in his mid-teens, as opposed to Brock who is in his late teens or early twenties. He's a perfect mentor to the younger characters as he can impart his wisdom on them and stand up for them when they battle. Brock has deep convictions about pokemon that rarely ever come out, but when he shows his bravery it makes him all the more respectable. The show is made all the better because of him, and I couldn't ever see anyone filling his shoes. Tracey made a valient effort, but for me it wasn't good enough.
     
    Brock. Food is too important! He's most like a friend, Tracey helps but he is "captiveless"...
     
    wut do you mean by that? tracy helped out alot more than brock did, he actually used his pokemon, was the peace-maker often, and could definetly know ow to fix problems. he always put every1 before himself, and i dont remember a time when he was EVER scared for any reason, except maybe a few episodes. but im not saying anything mean or trying to start an argument, jsut my op. =)
     
    I still think he's captiveless, I never saw anything cool on him, he's just there, never say a word and if he says it's just for another one reply and appear, he is useless. But Brock always is in love with some girl and it's funny. And I like Mudkip, Lombre and Forretress better than Venonat, Marill and Scyther.
     
    liking those pokes doesnt mean anything about the tr. otherwise none of the char on the show would be liked by me, and i may have watched it alot less... the great part of tracy was that he had great episodes which showed great carign and love for pokemon... like the episode where he caught scyther, he risked his life many times and through his skills made scyther move-on, and become less hostile and over-all a betetr pokemon. brock never did that to any pokemon he caught... also he gave his marill to misty when she ran and used the water pokemon for the fire to save the boy when squirtle was thinking about joining the fire fighters... tracy may not have done as much as brock, but thats probably b/c he had only 1 season, jsut like may... if may only has 1 season compared to about 4-5 then obviously ppl are going to go more for misty... i feel you can judge tracy more evenly than may compared to misty tho b/c its been awhile since tracy left and it gave you more time to see brock... and from what ive seen i am not impressed since kanto...
     
    ya, but why other than that i mean maybe think before scyther or him as a person, not jsust cuz he has that pokemon... would you like brock more if he catches 1?
     
    Even if Tracey was in more seasons, I saw the "Pok?mon Investigation! Search for Oak!" and still thought that Tracey is there to help but it's like if he did't act, he's like a robot, and Brock did a lot of things too like... like... well, he did.
     
    if you cant think of 1, but i did and he barely even had a full season, it doesnt really show much about brock... i like tracey b/c hes a good trainer and pokemon drawer and he doesnt have to be a gym ldr to be good at training or to join ash, like borck/misty did. he was there to replace brock b/c brock loved a girl, and that shows ppl were pretty sick of brock falling in-love w/ every1... if tracey was a real life person i would try and befriend him, and if he was brock all he would do was talk about girls, and fall in love w/ every1 he saw... i would just be too creeped-out and would be surprised if he ever got married
     
    Brock by far. He is always there to help Ash when he needed it. He is very protective of Ash and Misty/May and won't allow them to get in harm's way. There are quite a few episodes that can be cited in which Onix or Crobat had to act quickly to fight off Team Rocket. Brock has a much deeper backstory than Tracey does. Brock grew up as the only father-figure his siblings had, conditioning him into the caregiver he is around Ash. He has a dream to become one of the world's greats in pok?mon breeding (and he got his chance many a time...especially with Suzy and her Vulpix).

    I feel I'm kinda steering away from my point (I tend to do that a lot, thus why I'm never good with debates), so I will close this up firmly. Brock is a much more interesting character that Tracey. Without Brock, Ash wouldn't have ever beaten many of the gym leaders or have as deep an understadning of pok?mon...
     
    I'm gonna go with Brock. Mostly because he tends to have more character in him than Tracey. I've always thought of Tracey as slightly generic. But I still think he's pretty good.
