The story centers on the five students in the Boeibu/Defense Club (aka "a club to do nothing") at the Binan High School. Involving the battle between the two mysterious creatures came from the outer space, they have to fight against Seifukubu/Conquest Club (Student Council), as the successors to the throne "Battle Lovers."

I don't think anyone made a thread for this? (Currently on epsiode 3 right now) I wasn't planning to watch this, but I was curious with the magical boys.
Anyone watching it or have plans too? Thoughts on it so far?

I'm having an inner conflict between watching it and not watching it after seeing the first episode.

Honestly, the pink koala killed it for me. The other characters are fine.

Err... sorry about that. I'm just one of those losers that likes just about any critter that appears in anime.

To be honest, I found myself bored with the show when I watched the first episode 3 weeks ago? It didn't draw any reaction out of me other than "oh that pink wombat looks cute." I know the general rule of thumb is to give it until episode three before dropping an anime but I just don't know... Can anyone tell me if the other episodes got any better?

I think it's one of those miss and hit animes where you either like it or you don't based on the humor. (I guess?)
If you didn't like the first episode, I don't think you'll the other two episodes that came out since it has quite a similar vibe to the first one.

It's apparently close to Meganebu! and Daily Lives of High School Boys (same director) if you like that kinda stuff. I ended up dropping those two early on, but somehow I still ended up liking this lol.

My first impression of this show was terrible. I felt like the only appealing it had was the "characters are so gay you gotta love them" thingy. It was kinda pathetic to rely on this for a whole series. However after two/three episodes the show went into the comedy route, which feels more natural taking into consideration the "plot".

By the way, the pink wombat is just so amazing, I can't believe someone came up with such a idea LOL

Haha are you planning to still watch this through till the end with the "Koala"?

I don't really think much of the Koala except it feels kinda weird that he's carrying the boy's dead teacher pretty much everywhere. Even if he's controlling him and everything, once they got over the initial shock that wombat is controlling the teacher, they treat it normal to their everyday lives. It's still somewhat creepy sharing a bath with a dead person sort of (haha)

Wombat accidentally killed that teacher... Pretty much.

It is rather strange they keep the body around.

Lord Zundar is cute! I can't even take him seriously because of his appearance and contrasting deep voice.

Actually what I was thinking xD He's just kept forever in Kinshiro's pocket and is taken out when needed.

Since these are just their forms on Earth, I'm curious to what they actually look like xD
