Best Pokemon Voice Actors old or new?

    So while most of us grew up on the 4Kids! voice actors of Pokemon, its curious to see how many of the new fans favor the new voices over the old voice actors?

    First up is Ash Ketchum. Listen and compare out of Veronica Taylor and Sarah Natochenny to decide who you think is best. Brock, Jesse, James, Meowth etc are coming.

    While I love Taylor's voice for Ash, I do think that Natochenny's voice makes Ash sound more mature, and being around for like 10 years, Ash does need to grow up. But acting wise goes to Taylor.
     
    I'm just getting into the recent Pokémon, having grown up on Kanto/Johto. I like Meowth's new voice, cause it sounds a little more like the Japanese Nyarth. With it's graveley voice.

    I liked Officer Jenny's old voice.

    • Ash: Well, his new one is actually kinda cool. It makes him sound like he's maturing. So I say new.

    • Butch: Old
    • Officer Jenny: Old
    • Nurse Joy: Old

    So, yeah, it's mostly the old voices, but I like some of the newer ones, too. I just had to start with Jessie. Her voice is absolutely disgusting. >.> It makes me sick just listening to it. .​

    To be honest, I prefered the old ones. But from episodes I have seen, the Voice Actors are pretty poor. I mean I hardly ever see a change in their emotion by the voice. Maybe one of the reasons I haven't been hooked on the DP Series.

    PS - I have always liked how Ash has always put a massive emphasis on 'Ga' when he says Gary.
     
    It's actually hit and miss with me. I do like some of the new voices but the others really need to improve.
     
    Jessie's voice is almost identical to her old one, how can anyone dislike it?
     
    50/50 split. I do like Ash's new voice though, the little boy finally grew up ;D
     
    I don't really watch the new episodes at all, but
    I have heard the new voices here and there. I
    personally liked the old ones way better. Ash's
    new voice is really rough and cracky. Brock's is
    pretty close to the old voice but its off just enough
    to annoy me.
