I have always wanted to find the perfect place to EV train. But, as that does not exist, I have settled in looking for an okay one.

So far the only really okay ones I have found myself are:

HP- Rusturf Tunnel. Whismur gives only 1 EV for HP, though. But This is what I have found to be the most effective.

    Attack- Mt.Pyre?????? Murder Shuppets?

That is precisely why I asked. I don't really know. So, can we try to figure out the best places to EV train in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald?

(Frankly, I'd really like to know Defense's best place, but I bet everyone else would like to know the others)

    Thanks!

I think Defense is um... in Magma Hideout. If I recall correctly, then Torkoal and Graveler gives you 2 Def EVs, and Geodude gives you one.

Here are some places I know:

HP: Rusturf Tunnel. Whismur gives 1 HP EV.
Att: Inside Mt. Pyre. Shuppet gives 1 Att EV.
Def: Magma Hideout. Torkoal and Graveler give 2 Def EVs, Geodude 1 Def EV.
SpAtt: Rte 113. Spinda gives 1 SpAtt EV.
SpDef: Abandoned Ship. Tentacruel gives 2 SpDef EVs, Tentacool 1 SpDef EV.
Speed: Altering Cave. Zubat gives 1 Spd EV.

Maybe you can try Route 121, Mightyena might give 2 Attack EVs.
In the Pokemon League, Phoebe's Banette will give you Attack EVs too.
That's all I know for now.

HP: Loudred or Hariama on Victory Road both give 2 HP EVs.

Attack: Sharpedo or Absol both give 2 Atk EVs. Drake's Salamence gives 3.

Defense: Liaron in Victory Road gives 2 Def EVs and Steven's Aggron will give 3.

Special Attack: If you have Sapphire, Lunatone gives 2 Sp.Atk EVs. If not, Magnetons in New Mauville are an option.

Special Defense: Sky Tower has both Claydol and Altaria which give 2 Sp.Def EVs, so go there.

Speed: Find a Goldbat (Lots of places) or a Manetric (Route 118).

Another option if you have it is to make the perfect EV training team in one game, make a secret base and then mix records with the game you have the Pokemon you want to EV train in. This puts the EV training team into the game and you can fight it over and over and over in the secret base you made in the first game. (For example, I make a full team of Golems in Sapphire and make a secret base. I then mix records with Ruby and fight my Sapphire team over and over and over with the Pokemon I want to get the Defense EVs)

    Hope that helped!
