2nd Gen Best Place to Train in the Wild (Crystal)

    Hey guys, where is the best play to train for the Elite 4 in the wild? I just got my 8th badge but know I'm not close to strong enough to actually face the 4 yet, so I still need a bit a training. Suggestions as to where I should train?

    There are still several high-exp yield trainer battles between Blackthorn City and Indigo Plateau, so take care of those, and if you still need grinding (I recommend lv.40-44 for the Crystal E4), kill things in Victory Road until you're ready. :/
     
    Which of these would you recommend for facing the 4?

    Jynx, Gyarados, Kadabra, Haunter, Poliwhirl, Quilava, Onix, Machoke, Sudowoodo, Electrode, Noctowl
     
    You're up to the Elite Four and haven't evolved Quilava? As much as I love it, I hope that you just tacked an Everstone onto the little guy rather than have him underleveled.

    Electrode
    Machoke
    Noctowl
