Best electric type

I think that emolga or pikachu is the best electric pokemon but you guys might disagree . so what pokemon do you think is the best electric type ?

I'd have to go with Mangezone and Eelektross. Since they are good electric types and they are cute without trying too hard or being generic cute.

(Also Emolga when paired with Volcarona)

I've got quite a few fave Electric Pokemon.

My faves: Pikachu, Jolteon, Blitzle, Zebstrika, Emolga, Pachirisu, Plusle, Minun, Electrike, Manectric, Chinchou, Lanturn, Mareep, Flaaffy, Ampharos, Shinx, Luxio and Luxray.

I go for any Electric Pokemon that's fast, good-looking, and well, cute to my opinion.

IMO, these are the best Electric Pokemon competitively:
-Jolteon (for speedy attacks and Baton Passing)
-Electivire (for an excellent offensive movepool and coverage)
-Eelektross (for above, except with a lot less Speed and lack of weaknesses)
-Galvantula (for 91% accurate Thunders)

Best electric type is zekrom obviously. base stat of 680 is no contest with any other electric pokemon.

However, I do have other candidates for best electric type pokemon.
Zapdos: My personal favourite electric type + 580 total base stats (was joint highest with Raikou before zekrom took over)
Rotom-W: Rain dance + Thunder = Ownage. (along with rain dance and STAB (in gen V) boosted Hydro Pump to soak ground type pokemon)

No question...its 680 BST make it miles better than any other electric-type by the most objective standards. XD

I expected all the Zekrom, but Zapdos + EV'd Sp. Atk and move tutored Twister equals ownage.


Oh, and Galvantula. I hate spiders IRL, but Galvantula is ADORABLE!

Well, I believe it is indeed pretty obvious that Zekrom is indeed the best. Not to mention, it's my favorite legendary, which pretty much sums it up for me.

Let's interpret the original question in this thread as "which is your favorite electric pokémon" instead of which one is the objectively best ;)

My favorite is Luxray, I think. It's a lion. Lions are awesome. Though Pikachu still holds a place in my heart.

Pikachu and Luxray, I think they are the best because they're pretty speedy and strong too.

Plus, Pikachu and Luxray are my favorite electric types.

Jolteon for its Speed and Special Attack is the most useful.
Voltorb/Electrode are the coolest because they're living Pokeballs that zap people and explode.
Special mention to Eelektross because Levitate takes away its only weakness.
