Best Eeveelution on XD?

    What's the best Eeveelution on XD: Gale of Darkness? Right now I'm tied between Jolteon and Espeon. I want to know who's best and why - any ideas? I'm looking for something that's strong and has a good moveset... and doesn't suck. :laugh:

    Any comments on who NOT to get would be great too. ;)
     
    I usually go with Espeon. Honestly, that large Special Attack is enough to obliterate most trainers in the game. And you won't run into too many Dark-types, so that Psychic immunity isn't much of a problem.

    As for what to avoid, it depends on what nature you get.

    Thanks for your opinion! I would start the game to see what nature I got, but that would take to long. :\

    Don't get Vaporeon for sure. I chose that my first run through, and the majority of Shadow Pokemon are Water types that can easily replace it. I love Vappy, but it isn't the best choice for this game. Jolteon and Espeon are both speedy and have great Special Attack, which, as stated above, can tear through most Pokemon in the game. In my opinion, depends on your preference of type :P
     
    Hmmm...

    I really like both! The first time through, I had Jolteon, and the second time I had Espeon. I just can't decide! Should I flip a coin? :)

    In my only XD playthrough so far Vaporeon was my choice, and it did rather well when parthered up with Houndoom.

    Besides Vaporeon has Water Absorb and very high HP so what's the problem?

    One thing: TMs, and maybe HM Surf for Vaporeon.
     
    Flareon + Umbreon

    I've heard Flareon isn't a good choice. Does anyone agree/disagree?

    And what about Umbreon?
     
    If you've already chosen Jolteon and Espeon, isn't it better to go with someone else? You know, just to make it more fun.

    I agree that Flareon isn't a good choice though, just because most of its moves are special, and its highest stat is Attack. The fact that its last move is flamethrower doesn't help its cause. Its a lot better in DP though.

    Umbreon is good defensively, but fails in attack (approx. 70 both base ATK. stats)

    Wait... that would only leave Vaporeon. I'd still go with Jolteon (despite everything I said).

    i got through the game with flareon pretty smoothly you just gotta know how to use attack and fire types to your advantages but espeon is also highly recommended by me because of it's high sp attack and the fact that it will learn psychic
     
    i would go espeon joltean definetly has the better stats but espeon has more moves it can learn through level up wich for ingame play u definetly need

    For those who are wondering, I picked Jolteon because I knew that I would be getting a Gardevoir later in the game, which is a strong Psychic type that could replace Espeon. If I restart the game, I'll choose Espeon because I think Jolteon and Espeon are definitely the two best Eeveelutions in the game.

    Well I got through the game fine with Umbreon

    If there was a list of what's best or worst this would seem be it:

    1st: Espeon
    2nd: Jolteon
    3rd: Vaporeon
    4th: Umbeon
    5th: Flareon

    The other 2 are not in the list cause the 4th Generation didn't exsist then.

    Seriously though consider Vaporeon as a good pokemon to use cause of it's high hp, ok speical attack and it's ability.
     
    I might start the game over more then once, and if I do, then I'll experiment with different Eeveelutions. In this order, probably:

    1st: Jolteon - Current
    2nd: Espeon
    3rd: Vaporeon
    4th: Umbreon
    5th: Flareon
     
    Flareon.1
    Vaporeon.2
    Espeon.3
    Umbreon.4
    Jolteon.5

    i use Flareon's attack to my advantage, and Vaporeon good Hp is very useful if you know how to use it i consider Jolteon the worst because it's attacks are not very good and are focused on speed(which is the least important stat) the only thing good about jolteon is the abialty
