Have you ever thought "I would love to use modern movesets for my fangame/ROM hack, but I want to keep all of the moves that were cut in dexit?" Well, I have the solution for you! Introducing the Multiversal Movepool!
[PokeCommunity.com] Averaged Movesets for Pokemon Across Generations
[PokeCommunity.com] Averaged Movesets for Pokemon Across Generations
[PokeCommunity.com] Averaged Movesets for Pokemon Across Generations
This spreadsheet contains an averaged learnset for every pokemon in the game, combining all 9 generations of movesets together into one, creating the best of both worlds.
This sheet will give you a dataset of:
    - Level Up moves all converging into one list (moves that have multiple levels they're learned at will have their level averaged. Ex: a move learned at level 1 in one generation and 50 in the previous will be level 25 in the averaged moveset)
    - Combined Egg Moves for every generation (including ones that were normally impossible to get before like ally switch on tyrogue due to the addition of mirror herb)
    - A list of every move a pokemon has been able to learn across all generations (cross generational evolutions like Weavile, Farigiraf, or Ursaluna will also recieve the moves of their base forms from previous generations!)
    - Sheets containing data for the above 3 things, as well as the raw moveset data for coding use

Feel free to make a copy of the sheet and use it for whatever you would like, whether that be fangame use, ROM hack use, personal use, or whatever you want!

If there's any problems you have with the sheet, I can be reached on this thread, or via my discord @InfinityPlus05. I'm just one person who's worked on this sheet for a few months now, so there's bound to be something I overlooked or forgot. I want this to be the best it can be, so don't hesitate to reach out!

Oh, this is neat! I made something similar, but it didn't average the moveset levels, and it was a website linked into PokeAPI. But thanks for the resource!

I like this idea in concept, but I feel like, any move that is learned at level 1 should be treated as an outlier and not used in the averaging formula. A move that's learned at level 6 in one gen but level 20 in another should be learned at level 13 in this setup, but moves that are internally stored as "learned at level 1" are intended to be relearn moves. A move learned at level 1 in one gen and level 50 in another, should be learned at both level 1 and 50 - players can wait until 50, or they can spend a Heart Scale to get it early.

I have one question to ask about this fantastic resource, that is exactly what I am looking for, in my process of revamping the move pool distribution of every Pokémon up to Gen 9. I barely use Google Docs or Microsoft Excel, so I'm sorry if this is a noob question to ask.

In the screenshots that show Mew, Lucario and Azumarill, how do I on the Viewer Tab of the Multiversal Move pool Sheet on Google Docs, or Microsoft Excel, change the Pokémon in the Viewer tab? So, instead of the default viewer being Azumarill, I could change it to view the averaged move set history of Hitmontop, Volbeat and so on for all 1000+ Pokémon? I have recently finished using Ultimate Move Tutor and adding Universal Type moves to every Pokémon in my Essentials project build, on top of giving every generated Pokémon a stock default meta move set, so every Pokémon the player gets can access the Gen 9 Move Relearner System, enhanced by Ultimate Move Tutor. I need an efficient way of reapplying Egg Moves and Tutor Moves to every Pokémon.

This resource is exactly the solution to my problem that I am looking for. I just don't know how to use it, so I can easily view the List of All Learnable Moves for every Pokémon.

Never mind, I figured out what I needed to do to make a copy of the sheet, and then access every Pokemon listed moves on the Viewer tab.
