Ash's Outfits

Over the course of the series, Ash has gone through five main outfits. Ever since the end of Johto, he has changed his main outfit once every new generation. Beyond this, he's also had many side outfits, such as his Sky Trainer suit, and the ever memorable "Ashley". Of all the outfits Ash has ever worn, which on would be your favorite?

I liked his DP outfit best. That combination of Black and blue was the best IMO. From the other outfits, his running outfit from Pi-Kahuna and All Fired up stuck in my memory, as it was first time we saw Ash in shorts, that weren't his underwear or sleeping outfit. I liked that outfit, especially the T-Shirt with orange zig-zag stripe. I don't really remember much of his other alternate outfits, though, besides that pyjama he had in first episode, which I believe is also memorable for many of us {XD}

Edit: I just remembered his current sleeping outfit is quite similar to that running outfit he had in OS. The shirt is sleeveless and the stripe is wider and straight, the shorts are lighter blue with white stripe, but the colour scheme is quite similar, isn't it?

The original series. Hat was great. Jacket was great. Easy for cosplayers.

Also, you seem to have forgotten to close the brackets on the DP and XY anime series images properly. DP image needs a /, and the XY image needs a ].

The XY outfit is the best.

The worst would be the Unova outfit which made him look too childish. Also I got bored of his OS outfit in Johto too....it would have been better if the gang changed clothes in the Johto arc as well rather than wearing the same clothes from Kanto. Its what made Johto feel redundant.

I was going to choose the OS outfit but after a little bit of thought I changed it to XY's. Something about it just makes me like it. It looks sleeker and to me shows some of the experience that he has. He's not the same boy he was in the OS and definitely not the same as Unova. He just seems older in that outfit and I like it.

DP and OS were close seconds for me though. Classic looking outfits for him.

I ended up voting AG due to its simplicity, but in reality I do like all his main outfits and they easily fit in with the region he was travelling in. DP's reminds me a lot of the OS design, XY was the most mature-looking one, and BW was the most colourful.

Looking back, I would say XY, then DP, then AG, then OS, then BW.

I'd say OS, just because I have the hat :)

I think most of the OS outfit's popularity was due to the hat, especially when you hear the backstory on how Ash got it.

Although I wasn't a fan of this saga, I really liked Ash's Sinnoh outfit. It looks the most 'mature' of the group and while I'm not sure if I attribute it to that since he was at his best point during DP but the darker navy/black shirt went really well with the rest of his clothing. Ash had the best sense of style then, clearly. ;p

I also really like AG just because of the memories with AG saga Ash being one of my favorites.
