    Over the course of the Pokemon anime, which has been running for over 15 years, we have seen 4 different outfits on our beloved hero Ash.

    His Advanced Generation outfit. It's the outfit where he looks the most mature, and that would look the best in real life. I also like his very first outfit, because of nostalgia, but the DP outfit and the BW outfit are just awful to my mind (those trousers...).
     
    The images in the first post don't work for me :c But yeah, I always hate his outfit changes at first 'cos I'm so used to the old ones, but I normally get used to them. I absolutely couldn't stand his Unova outfit at first and now after one and a half seasons of being in Unova, I'm finally starting to get used to it. His eyes changed too :( I've gotta say my favourite outfit though is the Sinnoh outfit. But he needs less baggy trousers :c

    I just think he looks more grown up in this outfit than the others, plus the colour scheme is awesome. ♥
     
    Hard choice between the original outfit and the Advanced Generation outfit. Ash's original jacket was the main factor that I based my choice on voting for the original oufit on. (#3 is BW outfit and #4 is DP outfit, imo.)
    My favorites among Ash's caps are 1. original cap, 2. BW cap, 3. AG cap and 4. DP cap.

    DP outfit by far. The black looks very sleek and modern XD Perhaps it's also because I'm so bored of him wearing blue all the time.
     
    My fave outfit is the Best Wishes one, I love the bright colors they used on it, particularly the mix of red, blue, black and white. I guess the reason they used so many red, blue and white was presumably due to the Unova region being based on America. Pretty coincidental I say.

    Diamond & Pearl's is my second fave, he looked so mature in that one and I liked the hat.

    Advanced Generation's one had an over-abundance of blue but my fave part of that outfit was the hooded vest.

    The original outfit will always be my least fave, it didn't look good on him at all. Although the hat was iconic, which makes up for it.
     
    Diamond and Pearl outfit was the best. I hate what they did to Ash in Unova. He looks smaller and did they change his eye color?!
     
    My favorite of Ash's regular outfits has to be the Diamond & Pearl one... though the original series outfit comes in at a close second. (So I'm not a original series purist after all.)
