Interesting theories, but two things: The guy in the photo with Delia and Professor Oak is the father from the third movie. Also, yes Ash is voiced by female voiceover actors, but it is common in animation for young male characters to be voiced by women if they are not voiced by child actors. Bart Simpson and all of the boy Rugrats babies are just a few examples. Also, Ash is shown to feel pain even if he recovers soon after and cries on several occasions, and a robot wouldn't feel any pain or emotion.
Ohohoho great job! An in depth pick-apart! Not all robots are crafted as industrious hunks of terror-metal, missile launcher-minigun toting, laser eye staring, chrome grinning, killing no-pain machine, however ohohoho! (not so much an issue so much as a fun little description). However, Spencer Hale is
not Ash Ketchum's father as evident in the third film's explanation and if Hale were Ketchum's father that would mean that his parents had Ash out of wedlock and due to the plot of the third movie would result in him gaining a sister in Molly. I was partly joking at first, but I still think it's a sound theory.
