    Are there any other movies or episodes in the anime where Ash "dies" besides in the first Pokemon movie?
     
    IIRC...

    The main characters "temporarily" die in the Lucario movie (disase killers, the Tree of Life killed Ash & co. because it thought they were some kind of disease) and also, from what I've heard, the main characters also "temporarily" die in the Arceus movie as well due to Arceus destroying everything and Ash & co. being killed by a time paradox or something (ouch...)

    I think.

    Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
     
    Ash is immortal. He's like Chuck Norris on steroids. He was supposed to die countless times during the course of the anime. But no, that doesn't happen.

    In fact, I can bet Ash is supposed to die horribly and painfully next movie but he'll STILL be alive.
     
    Funny how many times that Pikachu has been squeezed, crunched, burned, frozen, and crushed, yet all it takes in a single chandelier in order to kill it.

    HAUNTER knocked over a chandelier!
