Are you catching the wild tera Pokémon found around the region?

You can find spots with large, glowing yellow light across the Paldean region, which are Pokémon with special tera types.

Do you actively catch these Pokémon when you find them, or do you only get some of them (such as ones you like, ones you don't have in the dex yet, etc)? Used any on your team? Or have you been largely skipping these?

    I'm trying to catch them.

I think I've got 100 Pokédex entries yet the only real story, progression I've made is battering that giant Klawf as I'm in full collector mode. But they seem to be stronger - had a Lv. 40 Flamigo in the muddy area of South Province where everything else is in the 20s (so weird seeing Goomy and Dreepy so commonly in the wild there!)

Yes indeed. I try to catch as many wild Tera Type Pokémon as often as possible for the variety of having different Tera Types, experience points, and LP.

I started by catching them all, but now I'll check their moveset to see if the typing is even worth it (of course they can learn Tera Blast, but I feel like that shouldn't be enough on its own). I hardly even battle other people, but if I do it for this GEN, I was trying to consider what moves would normally counter a Pokémon and try to get ones that have a Tera type that would resist that attack or be immune.

The tera Pokemon I am looking forward to using is Eviolite Eevee with Ghost tera type and Adaptability + Shadow Ball. Not sure what else to toss on it, maybe Calm Mind, Baton Pass, Hyper Voice?

If it's a Pokémon I don't have registered, sure yeah.

Otherwise, I check if the Pokémon and/or its random Tera type seems interesting, and if it is I try to catch them, like a Tera Ghost Houndoom I found a couple of days ago. But I'm not actively searching for them.

Honestly, I think this was a cool addition, and it could be fun for a future playthrough to play with a team made entirely of random Wild Teras. Not doing it right now just because my team is already decided, but had I knew about wild teras early on I would have probably taken it into consideration.
