So we know that the Shadow Mewtwo Amiibo Card is being included with copies of the game (from the first print run) but any other Amiibo accessory is also compatible with the game, no matter from what series!

This Amiibo card will unlock Shadow Mewtwo to be played right away while other Amiibos will unlock in-game items such as currency and costumes. However, using Amiibos to unlock bonuses is limited to just five per day.

What do you think of this? Would you like more Pokkén specific Amiibos or Amiibo cards? Are you fed up of the whole Amiibo craze?

I'm super excited as I've yet to own any Amiibo as I haven't had any games to utilise them but I finally have an excuse to buy that Pikachu Amiibo that teases me with it's cuteness when I go into shops! A Pikachu Libre would be even more awesome!

I like this a lot but I'm not too fond of the limit. I guess it's so you can keep coming back to the game to get stuff every single day but eh. I have quite a few Amiibo so I'm looking forward to unlocking some cool stuff, anyways! I think a Shadow Mewtwo Amiibo would have been super cool but a card is fine too.

Yeah, plus if you had dozens of Amiibos and used them repeatedly you'd get so much stuff really quickly.

I wonder if you can use the same Amiibo five times a day or if they have to be different?

A Shadow Mewtwo figure would have been cool but I guess a card is easier to distribute with copies of the game and cheaper too. Maybe they'll release one later?

I bought my first Amiibo the other day! ^^

So you can only use the same Amiibo once per day.

I've use Pikachu twice and got long hair with cat ears both times but different colours.

I wonder if what you get is random or if each Amiibo is allocated certain bonuses?

Which have you guys been using and what type of bonus did you get?

No Amiibo's for me. I always thought it was a kind of dumb thing that the Wii U added them. I don't care for them, but understand that some people like them.

I like Amiibo. I don't collect them, but I like them. I have the Mewtwo one. However, I do like the idea of Amiibo cards. Maybe all the Pokemon in the roaster will get a card?

I like the idea of the whole roster having an Amiibo, even though not really necessary. I'd quite like a Pikachu Libre figure to have that I could nickname and know it was my unique Pokemon that I was playing in the game. They could come with added bonuses or something that would be neat too. Plus if you could take them to friends houses or events to play as that would be cool. Or even a Pokken Trainer Amiibo that you could store your stats and stuff on to take with you when you played elsewhere.

My little Pikachu has been unlocking different things now so it is completely random and you don't need specific Amiibo for specific bonuses.

I like Amiibos, I have 10 of them, I really would've preferred a Shadow Mewtwo Amiibo, not a fan of the card.

I learned something I didn't know about the Shadow Mewtwo card today, once you've unlocked Shadow Mewtwo permenantly in the game the card can then be used as any other Amiibo to unlock special bonuses! It can also be used in other games to unlock stuff!
