    Hey,
I got a question to ask everybody, is there either a way to get a female pokemon egg or pokemon of bulbasaur, charmander, squirtle, chikorita, totodile, cyndaquil, treecko, mudkip, or torchic. I have tryed for hours to get one but no luck and had to go to bed with a headache for it yesterday but yeah i need to figure out if theres a trick to it or is there an action replay code for it. I mean i cant seem to get another female because i do have on my team a female of all of them but trying to get a shiny and have the shiny code and the pokemon code but cant seem to find a female.

This is in the wrong forum. ^^; It belong in the R/S/E section. :33 But I can tell you that when you breed Pokemon in the games, you really just have to keep on hatching eggs until you hatch a female. There's no real specific way to ensure your next egg will be female, you really just have to be patient and wait it out. X3 Well, I'll move this to the designated section rather than closing it, just in case someone else can provide more info for you. n________n

eee!!! you're trying to get a girl of those...man that's gonna be hard.

you shoulda just saved before you took the starter and kept reseting 'til you
    got a girl.

it's much easier that way. I think the odds of getting a girl egg are still

    12.5% so it's gonna take a while.
    good luck

listen to VanirElf, he right it'll be a 12.5% chance of getting a female. though by the time you read this you'll probably already have one.

It's really all luck. When I got Pokemon Ruby, I recieved a female Torchic on the first 'try'. It really is pure luck.

Hmm. for some reason, females are rarer when breeding. I have a friend who was breeding Eevees in order to get a female, and she bred over 30 that were male. She finally just gave up. :\

    Re:

    No,
I still havent gotten a female yet and for the starters i meant like bulbasaur, squirtle, charmander, chikorita, totodile, and cyndaquil. I tryed to keep trying after i saved before i got the totodile, chikorita and cyndaquil but it kept being male so i gave up on it. But if you do have a way to get a female let me know.
    Thanks,
    Brandon

The only way to get a female starter is by luck at the start of the game or by breeding but be warned there is a 88.5 chance of the egg being a male.

If you have a ditto it does'nt care if you have boy or girl. It evantually eould have an egg.

The funny thing is that I was breeding a Torchic too in hopes I could get high starting stats. Tht more interesting thing was that when I finally got a Torchic of "quite impressive in ability" stats, the gender was female :)

well...if by chance your also referring to D/P i am able to get you a code that well put the pokemon that you want in your leed position and will be exactly what you want it to be.
by the way i herd that if you breed a pokemon with a shiny ditto you will have a much greater chance of hatching a shiny pokemon!
