I don't know if this truly belongs here, but it accounts for 3 Generations, so I suppose so.

    Let's talk Feebas.

From being one of, if not totally the most difficult to obtain Pokemon, it became relatively easy to find and catch. It went from having one of the most unique methods of evolution, to simply an item evolution.
I feel like Feebas was tremendously made easier. I personally would prefer it more difficult, like in RSE, but then again I am likely a minority.

What do you think about Feebas? Did you ever manage to catch it in R/S/E or D/P/Pt? What do you think about the change in difficulty?

I loved the Feebas capture and evolution method and did manage to obtain one in Emerald and eventually evolve it into a Milotic. However, nowadays it feels like a slightly improved Magikarp that everyone can get.

I really liked the Feebas gimmick in RSE and it was extremely satisfying to finally catch one and evolve it into Milotic, now it feels less special and...meh. I think more Pokemon should have complex ways of catching them, it just feels better that way.

I kind of like certain Pokemon being hard to figure out of to catch, because it makes those catches seem more special. Legendaries are cool because you have to fulfill certain requirements to get them, and they really aid your team. It'd be cool if Pokemon like Pikachu were found only in very specific zones of Forests, or if more powerful Flying-types were restricted to the peaks of mountains.

Never used a Feebas/Milotic in a playthrough of any game, ever. They don't appeal to me. Just a Magikarp/Gyarados clone, and I don't even like Milotic's design. It looks too much like a human female head and hair. It's creepy.

Also, I can't believe after that thread title, no one has replied with 'no Dwebble'. ;)
