Aerodactyl moveset

    sorry if this has already been posted or if it's in the wrong spot. I'm still getting used to this site ;)

    First off, I've already taught my Snorlax Earthquake, so I can't teach it Earthquake. I was thinking of using Ancient Power, Rock Slide, Double-Edge, and a flying move. So my question is which one would you think is best: steel wing, wing attack, or HM Fly? Or should I use a different moveset altogether?

    Aerial Ace should be your flying move, while Taunt could probably go over Ancient Power, but neither of them go all that great in combination with your over moves.
     
    a bad move on my part, I taught Aerial Ace to a different pokemon as soon as I got it.

    I'd advise you to stay away from comments like this, lest you get negative feedback.

    But yes, Wing Attack is about your only choice at the moment. You can always train a Linoone to lvl 100, gaining a chance to get Earthquake TMs at random. Otherwise you can use another game cartridge to trade over a pokemon holding the EQ TM. Double-Edge is a cool move to teach it if it has the Rock Head trait. If you use a rock move, use Either Rock Slide OR Ancientpower, never both. Rock Slide is a better choice IMO.

    I hadn't heard that about Linoone before. Can you go into greater detail, or send me a link or something explaining this. I only have FireRed, so my expierence with the other pokemon is limited.

    Try to use pickup with a Lv. 100 Linoone like Sync said. Also try to get Hidden Power [Flying] with a power of 70, if you can't get that TRY to get AA as a Flying move. Steel Wing is a Steel Type move.

    Use this if you can get it:

    Aerodactyl@Choice Band
    Double-Edge
    AA/HP [Flying]
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide

    Use that. Although with your current predicament it may be a bit hard to obtain.
     
    Too bad that linoone thing only works in emerald. ;_;

    taking what you've said into consideration :

    Aero[jolly]@leichi/leftovers
    EVs - max attack,max speed,hp
    rockslide
    substitute/double edge
    taunt/double edge
    wing attack

    CB set is better....you should really try to get earthquake.

    ok, well thanks to my friend I got TM Earthquake!!! So now my next question is what moves should Aerodactyl use? I was thinking:
    Earthquake!!!
    Ancient Power
    Double Edge
    Aerial Ace (assuming that a Spearow can breed this move over)
    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and thanks for your help
