    I tried to obtain Shedinja by evolving Nincada at lvl 20 with 5 pokemon in my slots & having at least 1 pokeball, but I've had no luck! Am I doing something wrong!?

    Let me think...did you made sure you had extra spaces in your team to accomodate the new ones? Coz Shedinja is a skin mould of the evolved Pokemon...

    Edit: I misread your post, you said 5 pokemon or less =P Need to check...

    Well, yes. I said I had 5 pokemon, which leaves 1 open spot. How many open spots should I have?


    This is the official description Nintendo gave on obtaining Shedinja:

    "To obtain Shedinja, you must at least have 1 PokeBall in your inventory & no more than 5 Pokemon with you when Nincada reaches level 20."

    I did exactly as described above & didn't get Shedinja...

    No idea (but FAQs I read said 1). Maybe there's a glitch in your game?
    It's a long time since I last played the game, but I remembered that you need 1 Pokeball and 1 empty slot.
    How about trying to equip one of them with a Pokeball?
     
    From the sound of things, it is done right already... I don't know why it isn't working. I don't think you need to equip the pokeball for it to work. It's just 5 Pokemon with 1 empty slot in the party, and one pokeball... o.o; sounds perfect to me.
     
    nope... I only caught 15 Pokemon in the entire game. Yeah yeah I'm boring and weird catching so little... but really I don't know. From what I learnt, that should work already... (even though Nintendo guide are not believable, something so basic should be easy enough even for Nintendo to get right)
     
    Bare in mind Nincada will still EVOLVE into Ninjask, however another copy of that Ninjask will be in your party, except it will be a Shedinja. ^^ So you'll end up with Ninjask AND Shedinja.
     
    Yes I think he knows... but then Shedinja should appear in the empty slot already, with Ninjask taking over Nincada's place... so he should have Shedinja as well filling up the last slot... so what's wrong?
     
    OMG, that might be it. Because when I saw Nincada evolve to Ninjask I just shut the game off right away without looking at my Pokemon party. Thnx guys, Kairi. :)

    I think I know the problem. What kind of pokeball did you use to catch Nincada? (or w/e) you have to have THAT kind of pokeball in your inventory, not just any kind. (You can find out by looking at the pokemons file. It might have been a great ball, or an ultra ball or soemthing)
     
    uh...sorry to but in, but that sounds kind of complicated.
    ok so to get shedinja I have to have 1 empty slot, raise nincada to lv 20
    and it'll evolve into ninjask, but my empty slot will end up having a
    shedinja?

    like, I'll end up with both but I'll only see it evolve into ninjask???

    I've almost got every pokemon
    but I'm not a bug type fan so I've never actually bothered with nincada
    is it really any good??
     
    you dont need a pokeball. i had no ball but a luxury one, and it still evolve and i got one and didnt lose the ball.

    shedinja is sick. give it the right moves and boom. you have an amazing pokemon
     
    Shedinja isn't THAT amazing, but still good. Some of it's weakneses are some common types (I think...it's a bug type right?) and I don't think Shed is that fast.

    Doesn't Nincada evolve around 16? I just trained mine and let it evolve and I had Shed, so I don't know anything about yuor problem.
     
    Shedinja's worst enemy: Tyranitar

    a battle between tyranitar and shedinja is over before it even begins... auto sandstorm is just so fun
     
    shedinja is fast if you do the right training, give it vitamins, and if u have the right nature. and if u know how to make a good one, he can be very good.no legend, but a good choice

    Shedinja maximum speed is 179... with 252 EV o.o; that's very slow... even a metagross with no speed EV has 176 (so Shedinja is barely faster then).
     
    Shedinja has the easiest EVs and nature in the world to pick though? o.O; Never used one. It does nicely on 00bers though, unless it?s ttar?
