If this is more appropriate in Video Games please move it.

I've had no problems with my 3DS connecting to my Wi-Fi since I've bought it , but now it has been having problem connecting. I've reseted the router and deleted the connection on my 3DS multiple times and even after all that, I still can't find my wi-fi's access point. Any idea what's going on or how to fix it? I have Charter Internet by the way in case that's important.

Did you set the access point to be hidden? If not, then try setting it up manually, punching in all the appropriate things for the SSID, and the various security settings.

I really don't know if it's hidden, but I tried setting it up manually and it's still not working. :(

If I were in your position, I'd then try unplugging your AP for about 5 to 10 minutes, and if that still doesn't work, check if other wireless devices can connect to it (A laptop, cell phone, tablet...), and if all that fails, you might have an issue with your AP and may have to get it replaced.
Okay did that. It's still not working. The Wi-Fi on my computer works perfectly though so I really don't think we need to replace our router/AP. Besides it's still a pretty new router so it shouldn't have problems already.

Did you try doing a manual set up? Make sure all of the fields are filled in correctly. You need the SSID, the security key, and possibly the MAC address of the router. If you don't know how to find those, there should be instructions on Google. Make sure you have IP and DNS set up to be configured automatically (unless you want to try screwing with your DNS settings, in which case use 8.8.8.8 primary and 8.8.4.4 secondary and 4.2.2.{1-6} tertiary if needed).

Make sure other wireless devices are able to connect. Also, make sure you're actually in range.

I also found this, have you tried what they mentioned?

Tried all of those options, no good luck. Also called Nintendo, they said the AP wasn't even on. I think they almost solved it and now I just need to call Netgear (my router provider) and see if they can help further.
