As for graphics, I don't believe two generations can be mixed together, but D/P/PL and HG/SS can be mixed together.

Wow. This is the most brilliant idea I have ever seen for a pokemon game. I love the idea of missions, it's amazing that it's open world, so impressive. I would definitely play this. Love the ride feature, especially flying. Though, it would be cool if maybe there could be difficulty options...

Zoroark is amazing imo. It's design, story, etc. Ninetales is great, but I prefer Zoroark.
