I may have misread, but here is how I understood the spacing of characters. The initial two recruits make it down to the basement with Damon, and then several more people arrive. By the time we get the line:

I believe the split was like this:

Inside:
Eric Damon (boss) + Mewtoo
Andy (trainer)
Kaede (ranger)

New recruits:
Gracidea (Pokemon)
Aster (trainer)
Marcus (trainer)
Chara (pokemon)
Christina (assumed trainer)

Aster and Marcus have visible pokemon. I know OOC that Christina is actually a hybrid, but if she looks human, Tal might assume she's a trainer. If I misunderstood and it's obvious she's a hybrid, I can edit the post.

you got that right, yes she's actually a hybrid and ex trainer but she's hiding that with an illusion to look just human. you understood that perfectly. though it's unclear when Chara's player will be back and they may not be back anytime soon at this point

As Typh said earlier, the "assumed trainer" part is spot on. One can even easily assume that Gracidea and/or Chara is/are Christina's Pokemon had the onlooker not known any better. 😜

That said, I believe we're still waiting for @mdebourg101 (Andy/Nascent), @TheMadIceCream (Aster), and @Charcadet121 (Chara) to move on with their respective parts unless the players don't mind their characters going MIA in the middle of the plot.

yea it's a bit of a dilemma, I guess for now, for the sake of the plot moving forward, we skip them, if they do return there's no reason why they can't catch up and come back in one way or another.

Yeah, when I posted I did not pay much attention to when people had most recently posted (or even reacted to others' posts). I looked at the thread and was about to post something along the lines of "It seems not that unusual for there to be a few weeks between replies sometimes, and Alex has at least been reacting to recent posts which indicates he's at least still paying attention/online/involved". Then I see this thread in my notifications and the explanation.

By all means, take all the time you need, Alex! Health (mental or physical) and other real-life needs always take precedence over something like roleplay.
